Yeah, we may **** and moan, but we do it for the betterment of the game (for the most part anyways). Well, those of us that are loyalist do.

I played BF4 and, well, despite the functioning weapons, lack of suspicious lag when certain players/groups take part (*cough*), the lack of five people at once needing the top Plasma Rifles to take down a single scout, not overly powerful vehicles or anti-vehicles, not overly stupid grenade explosion radius, skydiving on top of vehicles with a repair torch and loling to victory against it, the zooming snipers that have the ability to compensate for extremely long range fighting, PROPER RENDERING, vehicles for days, and so on and so forth...

It lacks everything that I enjoy in Dust 514. Freedom. If I want to call in my own ride, so be it. If I want to lol around as a juggernaut with knives, there's a setup for that. If I want to pull a grenade and hug someone, more power.

Despite all the flaws, the missing content, the broken mechanics, the utter garbage ability of those that claim to be "good", the cowardice of majority of players, the painstaking unbalanced weaponry (of all sorts, as I count vehicles as weapons as well), Dust 514 is different. You die, you lose gear. You manage your income or you don't get anything. Everything is technically unlocked since the beginning- all you need is to devote yourself to getting it.

This game can be something. It really can. Never has a game caused me so much pain and brought a bitter sweetness at the same time as Dust 514.
